Seattle

ok here goes... Seattle was fantastic...and our girl is doing great.   She has made a full circle and is home again! She looks wonderful and has that fantastic smile back.  She is working at Hooverville in Georgetown and has great mates to work with. Well one of them is a little anal about his log book but otherwise he seems to be a champ. She has reconnected with old friends (note to Shannon station 4, off on thurs-fri) I finally got to meet the ever so talked about Tomas..wonderful chap (even if  he does take the last bit of whip cream without any hesitation).  To you my friend...thank you for bringing her home and for my new found appreciaton of  longboards. I also got to meet some of Shannon's new friends..accent guy with an ever so handy bucket....the funny lady drywaller, and the sweet guy with an ugly yellow kitchen...oh yes and the young lad with a plaid skirt,  who would have made any priest stand up and take notice. not allowed to mention names since i can't remember if it was Gary, Christina, or Sally on the witness protection list.  Got to see some sites...the space needle ..you would have to be in a drunken stooper not to see that one...beautiful trails..and let's not forget the new production site for the upcoming SAW 4 movie.  Met Gus and Kaeole, who are two top dogs!  And for those of you who know me well...sit down for this...I even ate humus and drank vitaminwater (later I found out it has almost zero nutritional value especially when you add vodka)  but humus...land sakes alive.  You know how I feel about sampling the local delicacies when I travel....the termite in Belize...the crickets in Haiti...to the whatever it was in Israel..etc.  So I did it ...the humus in Seattle...must say it wasn't  bad a'tall.  And not to forget my aspring chef in a cheerful place with beautiful orchids...thank you for the best waffles I have ever had.  To all of you in Seattle thank you for a wonderful, relaxing and happy holiday. It proves you don't always need a passport to have a great holiday!
